About

Hi, I'm Roza.

Clients often told me that this level of dedication is rare. I think it comes down to one habit: I design and run every event as if it were my own. ConferenceUp! is how I do that on my own terms.

Nine years behind international conferences

For nine years, I supported large international conferences by designing the digital infrastructure that enabled them to run: bringing virtual and in-person audiences together, keeping people engaged during sessions and making it easy to find information and connect.

An event is a short-lived business

In parallel, I helped build and run a company, which taught me that an event is really a short-lived business, with tickets to sell, sponsors to win, processes to run and a creative spark to keep it alive.

I understand the environment you work in

Inside the institutions

I had the opportunity to work alongside exceptional event managers at organisations such as the IAEA, European Commission and CTBTO. I saw how they planned, how teams and stakeholders worked together, where processes became difficult and the challenges that surfaced when an event came under pressure.

Not from the sidelines

I wasn't just watching from the sidelines. I was there to solve problems, support the teams and help make their events work better. That experience gave me a deep understanding of the culture and working style of such organisations: their standards, their way of working and the importance of getting things right in a complex institutional environment.

An event is a business that has to work in a very short time

A conference has many of the same challenges as a business: you need to attract and engage an audience, secure partners and sponsors, manage suppliers and budgets, build reliable processes, solve problems quickly and keep a team moving towards one goal. And unlike a business, an event doesn't get a second chance. The doors open on a specific day, at a specific time, and everything has to work. My experience building a company gives me that operational and entrepreneurial perspective alongside my years in event technology.
